  • About

Adult Day at Walnut Park provides services to seniors, 60 years of age or older, who require assistance with their activities of daily living due to physical disability and other chronic medical impairment, memory impairment and social and emotional isolation.

Our Program:

We provide seniors with a safe, stimulating and enjoyable environment. Our 4,000 sq feet facility is equipped with a nurse station, handicap-accessible restrooms and showers and a service kitchen.

Our activities program is designed to help with socialization, memory strengthening and fine motor skills.  Members enjoy varied daily activities, such as crafting, line dancing, bingo, sing-a-longs and more. Throughout the year, our staff hosts themed parties for members and we have guest speakers come in to discuss a wide range of topics.

Throughout the day, certified nursing assistants help members with personal care needs such as bathing and toileting.  Fall risk is greatly reduced by assisting members around the center and helping them learn to manage wheelchairs and walkers on their own.

Our on-site nurse provides monitoring of vital signs, assistance with medicine administration and promotes general wellness through daily communication and education programs.

But, most importantly, Adult Day at Walnut Park is a family.  Our members are our priority and we love and respect them greatly.  We see the responsibility of caring for your loved one as a privilege and an honor.  We want to work together so your beloved elder can live his or her best life, independently.
